We believe food and drink should be celebrated, whether you are just popping in for a cuppa or sitting down with your family and friends for a meal. Our space is relaxed, welcoming, and all about enjoying good food, good company, and a moment to unwind.

Our menu takes inspiration from flavours around the world, bringing you tasty, wholesome dishes that are perfect for sharing or savouring solo. From breakfast favourites to our twist on global classics, every plate is made fresh and full of flavour.

You'll always find something tempting on our fresh cake counter with a changing selection of cakes and bakes, ideal with our loose leaf teas or locally roasted Devon coffee.

And don't leave without trying our homemade vegan ice creams, smooth, creamy, and full of flavour. Think stem ginger, marmalade, lemon, maple syrup, coffee, and blackcurrant, with new creations appearing all the time.

About Us

Leanne and Ben have been creating and serving food in and around Tavistock since the lockdowns allowed us to. We have focused on affordable, tasty and interesting food, including street food at the Stannary Brewery, a bistro style pop-up at Lemon Grove Café, the Enchanted Woods outdoor feasts with food cooked in a homemade wood-fired kitchen, to running The Leaping Salmon in Horrabridge for over three years.

We love working together and it shows. Our ethos is simple, we serve what we love, how we believe it should be served. We’ve built a great team of local heroes to help us, and are lucky enough to have a lot of local regulars who come just to find out what we’re cooking up next.

Taking on Eastgate Brasserie is a big step for us. We are investing in what we believe to be a fabulous venue, with huge potential, right in the heart of Tavistock. With a clean and simple interior and a beautiful courtyard on the river, we hope to offer something a little different in this wonderful town of ours.
